How to Get Listed & Verified
Submit Your Business
Add your business to the IBBF directory with your basic details — name, category, and contact information.
Claim Your Profile
Once listed, claim your business profile to manage your public presence on the platform.
Complete Verification
Submit the requested documentation through your Business Dashboard to move from Listed to Verified status.
Respond to Complaints
Use your dashboard to respond to complaints and reviews filed against your business — publicly and on record.
What Each Level Means
IBBF uses a three-tier trust system. Your trust level is determined by your verification status and your engagement with complaints and reviews.
Listed
Your business is in the IBBF directory. Basic information is publicly visible. No verification has been completed.
Basic Verified
Your business has completed the initial verification process. A Basic Trust Badge is displayed on your profile.
High Trust
Your business has maintained consistent compliance, responded to complaints, and met IBBF's highest verification standards.
Important
Trust badges may be revoked if a business becomes non-compliant. Revoked businesses revert to Listed status. All changes are recorded on the platform.
Business Dashboard
Once your business is claimed and verified, your Business Dashboard gives you access to:
- All complaints filed against your business — with timestamps and status
- The ability to submit one public response per complaint
- Your current trust level and verification status
- Notifications when new complaints or reviews are received
- Access to IBBF's private back-channel for ongoing complaint communication
Response Policy
Each business is permitted one public response per complaint or review. Further communication may continue through IBBF's private back-channel. All public responses are subject to moderation before publication.
