These guidelines explain how the verification badge may be used by businesses and how misuse of the badge may be addressed.

Section 2

The IBBF Verification Badge indicates that the business has completed the verification process based on the information and documentation reviewed at the time of assessment.

Basic Trust

Section 3

Eligibility for the Badge

A business may receive the IBBF Verification Badge after successfully completing the verification process. Verification status may depend on:

  • Submission of business details
  • Documentation provided during verification
  • Successful completion of applicable verification review procedures conducted by IBBF
Note: Payment of any platform fee does not guarantee verification status. Verification depends entirely on the information and documentation provided during review.
Section 4

Permitted Use of the Badge

Businesses that have received the IBBF Verification Badge may display it in the following ways:

  • On the business profile page on the IBBF platform
  • On the business website with a link to the official IBBF business profile
  • In digital materials where the verification status is accurately represented
  • The badge must always reflect the current verification status on IBBF

The badge must not be altered or modified in any way.
